Don’t be afraid to play in the kitchen, especially with a loved one- ITS FUN!!
A friend of mine once pointed out that “cooking/preparing” food is a unique medium of art, in that it is the only one that plays on each of our senses simultaneously. Sight, Smell, Touch, Taste, & Sound…. And its the only art that you can actually CONSUME……and therefore BECOME!!! WOW. I think that is totally awesome. Imagine everything that we eat actually becomes the building blocks of our every cells… very interesting….
What is it that you would like your body to build itself with today???? Something to think about…
Have fun with your tastebuds on these recipes!!!! And let me know what you think of them.

Chris & Sara:
Nice visiting your site today!
Your beauty and radiance truly is an uplifting presence in this world. I hope you continue to share your Maui adventures with us.
I look forward to my next time on Maui — and doing a little banana hunting myself.
And Cactus Fruit — I want to experience the taste that you both seem to love.
Be well,
Dawni
Sara,
Please send me the recipe for the jalapeno/garlic salsa with approximate proportions. Mine (second try) just burnt my tongue off and as I remember yours it was just hot enough and delicious. Also do you use the Blendtec to make it?

Too Funny!
Yes that is a yummy one, I must say! Ill have to take a pic the next time I make it and post it in the recipes.
Try:
3 Jalepenos
1 piece of Red Hot Chili
1-2 Cloves Garlic
Process the Garlic first, then add the jalepenos and red chili and process till chopped well. Add a little water until desired consistency. Add salt. Pulse process a few times. And stir in some sesame oil. YUM!!
Use it as salsa for ANYTHING and fabulous on curry for a fresh kick!
enJOY~~~
